How it works.
No jargon, no surprises. Three steps and you’re done.
The Submission
You fill in a short online form with your PPS number, employment details, and any expenses or receipts. It takes about five minutes. You pay the €39 accountant review fee at this stage — it’s deducted from our final fee if we secure a refund.
The Review
A qualified accountant reviews your tax history year by year and identifies every relief and credit you’re entitled to. You’ll get an email from Revenue asking you to approve the agent link — a quick click inside your own myAccount. Once approved, we file the claim on your behalf.
The Refund
Since January 2026, Revenue pays PAYE refunds straight into the taxpayer’s bank account. You get paid by Revenue, not by us. Most straightforward claims land within five working days.
What you’ll need.
We’ll ask for these when you start your claim. Nothing difficult — most of it is in your payslips and your myAccount.
- 01Your PPS number
- 02Employer name(s) and approximate start/end dates
- 03Receipts for medical, dental, and other claimable expenses
- 04Rental details if you’ve been renting (landlord name and address is enough in most cases)
- 05Proof of identity and address for AML checks — a passport or driving licence, and a recent bank statement or utility bill
About the Revenue agent link.
This is Revenue’s official system for authorising an accountant to act on your behalf. It’s secure, audited, and you can revoke access at any time through your own myAccount. We’ll email you step-by-step instructions — it takes about a minute to set up.
